Hi, I am a recent Michigan State University graduate with a BA in Anthropology. I also have minors in leadership of organizations and graphic design. I have a strong passion for journalism and graphic design, that's why I joined the Edmund C. Arnold Chapter of the Society for News Design when I was a student at Michigan State. I was also the editor-in-chief of Ann Arbor Huron High School's Yearbook, The Enthymion, for two years. I got involved with journalism my freshman year of high school and was introduced to Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator and have been working with all three for more than nine years now. In 2019 I was lucky enough to earn the title of Michigan Interscholastic Press Association's All-State Student Journalist Staff Member because of my work with The Enthymion. Two years ago I was also lucky enough to get hired by The State News at MSU as one of their graphic designers. After I graduated, I was hired on as a full-time staff member as their Creative Advisor. I get to work with and teach an amazing team of talented graphic designers and illustrators and continue to be a part of an amazing publication.
